I would implement a training program for both the Thais and the
Western employees, I would also train everyone. The training would be a sign of showing respect for each other. Also, it would be good for both, Westerners and Thais. So, maybe if one doesn't understand one way then if they try the other way then it might work. I mean especially since communication is very important. When you are working in a country that is not yours, learning their language is showing respect to their culture. However, it is good for the Thais to learn since most of the guests are not natives. It would be good for everyone to learn. Learning never hurts anyone.
I think that you included that both of US and Thai workers should be trained more than once. I do love your comment about how it never hurts anyone to learn.
